There are seven speakers / workshop leaders that are this close to confirming that they'll be there. (Plus another few in varying stages of "probably.") At least a couple of these folks will be real draws, I think.
I've been lucky enough to be able to converse with a few of these people on their workshop topics in the past couple of days, and I kept wishing I could just put them all on the phone together because I knew the conversation would be awesome. It finally dawned on me that's precisely what Sorensen is doing with this conference. :)
As I wrote this comment, one of those confirmations came in -- Chris Piper, of the State Board of Elections (you remember him, Shaun -- he spoke last year) will be giving a presentation on the state's evolving campaign finance law, how it applies to bloggers, how it should apply to bloggers, and what changes legislators are looking at making to crack down on us. Chris has been planning his presentation since he first agreed to appear this year, back in January. I hate to play favorites, but I don't think I can miss that particular presentation. :)
