- Thank you for participating in the test phase for the site. This site is really just the collective requests of, like, 100 people. :) I'm looking forward to using it just like anybody else. It might even be -- dare I say it? -- fun :)

- I don't know, how can we trust that this site won't report things in a biased manner.
It would be better to see stuff like this run by non-partisan groups and people.
But on the other hand, since none of them are stepping up to the plate, I'm not criticizing Waldo for putting the time and effort into it, just saying that we on the right need to treat this new resource with skepticism, and do our own research to discern the full truth.
So I guess that's both a backhand slap, but also an off-hand thanks to Waldo for this new site.

- It is run by a non-partisan group, Charles. I gave it away to a non-partisan group the day before it launched, specifically for the purpose of preventing people from thinking it's biased.
But, more important, the data is syndicated directly from the General Assembly's website. So unless you think I wrote some sort of an Evil Liberal Filter to secretly change the language in bills to make Republicans look bad, I'm not sure how it would even be possible to make it "biased."

- See, that's what makes you so great. I hadn't even THOUGHT about using an evil liberal filter, and you've already designed and implemented one.
One can only hope that the language of the bills themselves won't be a liberal plot. :-)
I guess it's too soon for people to lighten up......

- BTW, the Potomac News has a good article about another public interest web site "Virginia Performs" set up by the Kaine people to discuss what the government is doing (as opposed to what the legislature is trying to do).
A lot of good stuff coming online.
