They can’t even defend their prisons!
Using tactics that seem to have come from some Woo flick, a Parisian gang liberated one of it’s members yesterday:
According to initial police reports, the gunmen arrived outside Frèsnes prison at about 4:30am. The gang then split into two groups. While several opened fire at guardposts with automatic weapons, another group of bomb experts set off explosives, blowing open a metal gate. Having gained entrance to the prison, the gang continued firing on guardposts while using more explosives to blow through interior walls until they reached Ferrara.
“The commando gang entered the high-security section of the prison and gave Antonio Ferrara explosives which allowed him to blow open the bars on the window of his cell,” said Christophe Marques, a prison officers’ representative from the FO union.
Ferrara leapt into a waiting Audi with his accomplices and sped away from the jail. Police said the car had apparently been stolen and resprayed.
Vive la France!
