Just Say No to Cold Showers
Which is exactly what I did this morning, thanks to Columbia Gas, who came to the new place promptly at 10:00am to hook up the gas for the water heater.
Yep, for the past few days, it has been nothing but ice cold showers – which wouldn’t be so bad if we were in the old place with no A/C, but at the new place it is bitterly cold. And who enjoys taking cold showers? I definitely don’t. Although, my friend was required to do so a couple of weeks ago because his water heater was broken, and had to contact somewhere like Nance Services to get it sorted for him. Luckily, they were able to do so as soon as possible, and he soon had that lovely feeling of warm water on his body again. I’m just hoping that this will be me soon, especially when the gas can be hooked up to the water heater.
Also, why is choosing a new water heater so difficult nowadays? If you’ve replaced your water heater recently, you’ll know exactly what I mean. If only I had the option to click to view listing here at the time. I thought, rather naively, that it would just be a case of finding the cheapest one and buying it. But no, how wrong was I?! There are so many different types to choose from. Apparently, when selecting a new water heater for your home, you should choose a system that will provide enough hot water but also do so in an energy efficient way. Having read this online, I still wasn’t really interested until I read that this can save you money. It was at that point I visited lots of different websites to get more information on the best water heaters available.
Having eventually found one, I’m very much looking forward to a nice, warm shower once it is fitted. My friend had a heater installed by the plumbers in Port St. Lucie a while back, so I have a good idea of how smoothly the installation will go and how much my life will be improved by it.
In any event, we should be getting cable internet service sometime within the next few days. That should allow me to get back into the general harassment of the leftists et al.
